Localization World Seattle, the third North American conference, will be held from October 25 to 27, 2005. "Under the title of 'Translation Automation', the conference will bring together buyers and vendors to discuss real issues and challenges vis-à-vis the implementation of machine translation; real sharing of linguistic data in cross-vendor networks; workflow automation; integration and sharing of supply chain networks; establishing standard and transparent processes; automating quality measurement and integration of controlled language authoring and terminology management."

The call for papers has been issued. The last Localization World conference was held in Bonn, Germany from May 31 to June 2, 2005.
