In a press release, Nero AG announced that already more than 1000 freelance translators have signed up for free licences of across v3 and are now ready "for the seamless integration in translation processes between the industry and service providers."

Despite summer vacations over 100 freelancers sign up daily since the beginning of the promotion in mid-August to receive one of the sought-after free license keys for the CAT system across v3 worth 399 EURO. This offer is a cooperation between the German association for interpreters and translators BDÜ. According to press releases these free licences are only available for members of the BDÜ, however, the registration form also offers other options of membership and non-membership. babelport.com reported that licence keys were also given out to those who are not members of the BDÜ.
