The Mozilla foundation has released a new version of its open-source Webbrowser Firefox. The version 1.0.1 includes an even more stable engine and patches to known bugs and security holes. Also the problem of phishing attacks using internationalized domain adresses are said to be solved now.

Most of the few problems and security holes known to exist in Firefox 1.0 have been patched in the new version which can be downloaded from http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/

cpi service and the babelport team recommend to upgrade to the new version or to switch from Internet Explorer to this free open-source project.
