Un-patched Microsoft attacked by ZOTOB, CNN, AP & Disney suffering

According to recent reports, flaws in Microsoft operating systems have been used by a new virus called ZOTOB. ZOTOB makes use of a recently discovered bug in Microsoft Plug&Play sub-routines. According to CNN and heise.de, ZOTOB partially knocked down IT-infrastructure of CNN, ABC, AP (Associated Press), New York Times, and infected big players like Caterpillar, Disney, Kraft Food, and others. ZOTOB is spreading rapidly and new variants of the worm have already appeared although Microsoft provided updates which patch the problem last week already. It is recommended to updated un-patched systems immediately.
