The babelport.com Terms and Conditions have changed. The following agreements have been added to section 2.1a):

All users must provide at least a minimum of contact and professional information about themselves. This includes entering a real name and a real address, even if some of this data might not be required in the registration process. cpi service and the babelport.com site team have the right to check this data for validity. Any violation of the completeness or validity of personal information will result in the termination of membership without prior notice and without being entitled to damages.

We have considered this addition to the T&C a necessary step after some of our users have not provided correct or complete contact information. As we wish to be a community of professionals in the translation industry, we want our members to act professionally as well. Not providing crucial contact information does not help building an atmosphere of trust and transparency. Therefore we have made the above changes in the Terms and Conditions. We also have contacted those users who had not entered the requested information, and most of them have completed their names and address in the meantime.

If you, for any reason, should not agree with these changes, feel free to post a thread in our forum for open discussion.
