Hotmail accounts accessed through MSN security hole

After hackers were able to spy on user cookie data of visitors to Microsoft's ilovemessenger.msn.com website, which they were able to to use to get access to hotmial.com accounts without further authentication, Microsoft closed the website.

The reason for the hack was a security whole in the MSN servers, which Micorsoft tries to fix as quickly as possible
