The vendors of the web-browser Opera recently pointet out that there is a potential security problem in Opera'S download module. This security hole may irritatingly inform users downloading executable files that the downloaded executable would be opened in Notepad while the file is executed directly instead. As this may lead to the executation of so called 'malware' this problem should be regarded as a security risk.

A fixed version 7.54u2 of Opera's webbrowser has been released already and it is recomended to upgrade. The new version, however, is currently only available in English.
