Microsoft has published 13 new Patches as part of their monthly security patch campaign. These patches shall close potential security holes in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and further Microsoft software products.

These updates include patches for flaws in Internet Explorer, Microsoft's Web Browser, for widely used Office Products, such as Word, Excel, and Access, as well as for Microsoft's Media Player.

Due to the dissemination of Microsoft Windows and related products in the end-user market, flaws in these products should always be regarded as high risks, and it is thus recommended to regurlarly check for updates and patches and to keep software products up-to-date.
