According to heise Security the security update MS05-019 for Windows Server 2003 SP1 causes connection problems between Exchange Servers and Domain Controllers.

However, a patch for the patch can only be obtained from Microsoft upon direct request (this is the link to MS United States; you might have to check your local MS home page for support information).
