According to heise Security a new version of the Sober-Worm spreads over the internet via email since April 19.

Apparently this worm does not contain any malware but 'only' sends emails. The worm exists in a German version that is sent to all addresses with the country domains .de, .ch, .at, and .li. All other users receive an English email.

Thus users should be highly cautious when receiving unknown emails, especially when they contain attachments from unknown senders. When in doubt, these emails should be removed without opening the files.
