Mozilla Foundation releases Versions 1.0.3/1.7.7 of Mozilla and Firefox

The Mozilla Foundation has released updated versions of its web-suite Mozilla and its stand-alone Mozilla Firefox browser. Version 1.0.3 of Firefox and Release 1.7.7 of Mozilla close nine security holes recently discovered, including a Javascipt Interpretation Bug, that potentially allowed attackers to read from the system memory and thus gain control of the system. Three of the nine fixes patch security holes, which had not been reported yet.

It is recommended to update to the newest release, although some problemes with installed Mozilla Extensions may occur. To download the latest releases visit the Mozilla homepage
