Mozilla Firefox 1.0.2 - Security Update

The non-profit Mozilla Foundation released a new version of the open-source webbrowser Firefox yesterday. The new version 1.0.2 is announced as a proactive security release to patch a bug identified by Internet Security Systems, a premier security research, products, and services company. No known exploits of the bug have been reported prior to the update's release.

The free stand-alone Firefox webbrowser is said to be the only fast and secure alternative to any other web browser on the market. Yesterday's release shows again the Foundation's commitment to security and stability.
