?Quick accessibility of PASSOLO expertise is one of our company?s key success factors, which is why we attach great importance to the continued training and qualification of our licensed trainers worldwide,? says Claudia Fricke, Marketing Director at PASS Engineering. A qualification program for Certified PASSOLO Trainers was held once again this year at PASS Engineering?s company headquarters. All together, eight trainers completed the CPT qualification program this year. The attendees included veterans like Klaus Kurre, Detlef Reineke, Erich Schildhauer and Daniel Zielinski as well as several new CPTs: José Blanco from Spain, Klaus Fleischmann from Austria, Doug Lawrence from the UK and Richard Sikes from Canada.

Among the highlights of this year?s program were the new features of PASSOLO version 6.0 and a look at issues involved in the localization of special formats such as .NET, XML and databases.

About PASS Engineering

PASS Engineering GmbH, located in Bonn, Germany, has been in business since 1990. Their focus was initially in the development of medical-technical software, but later shifted to the field of software localization.

In the context of globalization, software localization plays a key role: localization tools like PASSOLO present the translatable data so that it can be edited in a simple but secure way. By leveraging already translated strings it is possible to accelerate the time-to-market cycle.  The Add-in concept allows data exchange between PASSOLO and other tools relevant to the localization process.
