Mac-software vendor TripleSpin recently announced the release of  LocFactory in version 1.6.

LocFactory Editor is coined a "intelligent TextEditor" for the localisation community.

The software is available in two licences. The Lite version is available free of charge while the PRO version costs EUR 29,95.

LocFactory allows the translation of Gettext PO-Files, AppleGlot WorkGlossaries, XLIFF-Files and files in .string format. LocFactory also supports XLIFF export, TMX- format, PO-Compendia an much more, but varying from license to license.

The Pro-licence furthermore allows users to add own extensions using script languages like Ruby, Groovy, and JavaScript as well as Regular Expressions and Whitelists.
