Kilgray Translation Technologies, an independent company dedicated to the development of translation productivity tools has announced the launch of the Integrated Localization Environment (ILE) MemoQ. MemoQ has a strong focus on easy-to-use and productive user interfaces and collaboration. MemoQ LSP5 edition offers best value for a client-server architecture: it ships with one server and five client licenses and costs US$ 1900,-. MemoQ also has a freeware version, MemoQ4Free for newcomers to translation environments. MemoQ aims to reach out for translators who do not have access to technology yet, due to lacking technical skills or resources. Following the right methodology, any translator can learn to translate in MemoQ within just two hours. MemoQ is able to handle any number of local and remote translation memories and term bases - even scattered on several servers -, features a translation memory and a terminology editor, an enhanced aligner, and eliminates unnecessary file management. Its add-in architecture is a unique achievement - it enables customers to buy only modules that they need. MemoQ has a five-year development roadmap that guarantees investment into the most dynamically developing technology.
