In a press release Germany-based media agency Pagedesign GmbH announced that the free online-dictionary www.woerterbuch.info has passed another milestone. More than 750.000 German-English translations are available for free to internet users. The website's statistics page reveals that all in all 797,502 entries and 127,985 synonyms are stored in the dictionary.

Foreign languages, especially English, have become an essential part of daily life, the press release informs, be it for education or professional tasks. The woerterbuch.info service offers a searchable German-English dictionary together with voice output for free.

Hamburg-based Pagedesign GmbH started the service in autumn 2004 with great success and by summer 2005 more than 700,000 entries had been added. Now another important milestone has been, the company informs, well over 750,000 German English translations together with over 127,500 synonyms are stored in the dictionary and freely accessible.
