According to an article published by heise.de this Tuesday, Microsoft published a total of five patches for security holes in the integrated Web browser Internet Explorer und the operating system Windows. Three of these security holes have been rated as critical. As has already been reported, these bugs, that have been known for some time, allow malware to access the computer. One of these bugs is currently used by the trojan Win32/Delf.DH, that leads to the infection of the system by simply accessing a specially prepared website. Users are adviced to install the provided patches either manually or via thr automatic update function. However, heise also reports that not all known security holes were patched. Thus the recently reported bug in the processing of stylesheets was not patched by the provided updates. In special cases data on the computer can still be accessed.
