In a press release published by I-Newswire, PROMT announced the release of @promt Automatic Dictionary Construction, an add-on for @promt Professional 7.0 translation software. This software is designed to "automate the process of user dicionaries creation and make the user capable to build dictionaries from already existing tables of words and collocations with their translations." Thus @promt Automatic Dictionary Construction facilitates the process of switching to PROMT translation software by enabling the user to integrate already existing glossaries into the software and increases the quality and coherence of machine translation. "Converting the corporate glossaries into the machine translation dictionaries was always a costly task requiring a lot of manpower and thus, always an obstacle for using the machine translation system and a source for criticism. Well, this is not the case anymore. Any existing user glossary, even containing thousands of translations, can be converted to the user dictionary for @promt system just in seconds," said Ilia Klimakov, Overseas Markets Director of PROMT. @promt Automatic Dictionary Construction can be used with @promt Professional 7.0 translation software only. The software supports the following language pairs: English <-> German, English <-> French, English <-> Spanish and French <-> Spanish. The product is released in English, German and French localizations and costs USD 99. Source: i-Newswire Internet: PROMT Related Articles: Promt 7.0 Translation Software |
