MultiTrans 4 Freelancer Edition

During November's ATA 2005 conference in Seattle, Washington, MultiCorpora, a Canadian enterprise language management solution software vendor, debuted its new solution set for freelancers, MultiLingual reports.

MultiTrans 4 Freelance Edition provides access "to the basic functions necessary for a freelance translator to perform translation not working from a corporate network."

The stand-alone edition of MultiTrans 4 includes import functionality for both TextBases and TermBases of unlimited size. The Translation Agent  is embedded within Microsoft Word. The Freelance Edition differs from  the Expert Edition, in that it can not be installed on PC that are part of a domain cannot connect to MultiTrans 4 Server. Existing MultiTrans Light customers with contract maintenance will be upgraded to the MultiTrans 4 Freelance Edition free of charge in January 2006.
