A new research tool Tsearch has been released in version 1 by Rainbow Languages and Technologies recently. The tool is specifically designed for professional translators and linguists, who "spend much of their working time looking for terms across glossaries and translation memories (TM). A translator performs at least two hundred researches per work day so as much as 3 to 4 hours every day is spent in researching glossaries and TMs," the Rainbow website informs

The tool allows to search terms across multiple languages including European and Asian languages  in multiple glossaries and translation memories simultaneously and view all occurrences in their different contexts at a glance. The tool can deal with Excel-spreadsheets (xls) and comma separated value lists (csv-Files), Trados translation memories, and Microsoft glossaries, and allows to organize glossaries and translation memories by project or types
