Literary Translation Symposium in Cuba

The 7th Literary Translation Symposium will be held November 23-25, sponsored by the National Union of Cuban Writers and Artists (UNEAC), in Havana, Cuba. Experts from nine Latin American and European countries are expected to  participate in the event that has been put under the slogan, "Literary translation, new approaches for old problems."

Translators from Spain, Argentina, Mexico, Greece, Austria, Colombia, Norway, Jamaica and the host country, will meet to strengthen connections. The symposium focuses on the links between the translator, reader and editor, and will include master conferences, workshops, book presentations and roundtables.
