Microsoft: No Patch-day this Tuesday

According to heise.de, Microsoft will not provide any security updates for known security holes in the Windows operating system. These updates were originally scheduled for tomorrow, 13 September. This was due to quality assurance problems. Thus the holes will probably remain unfixed until the next patch-day in October. However, the new version of the Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool as well as other patches that are not security relevant will be ready for download by tomorrow. Source: heise.de |
